Ramsey Man Gets DWI Charge In Glen Rock: Police
A Ramsey man was charged with DWI in Glen Rock last week and his car was impounded.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — A man was charged with driving while intoxicated in Glen Rock last week after police stopped in him in the business district, they said Monday.
Daniel Librizzi, 51, of Ramsey was charged Dec. 1 with DWI, failure to submit to a breath test, careless driving, failure to maintain lane, and failure to possess a driver's license, said the Glen Rock police.
Police said that Officer T. J. Graziani had stopped Librizzi's car just after 11:30 p.m. in the Rock Road Central Business District.

When Librizzi was arrested, his vehicle was impounded in accordance with John’s Law, police said.

John's Law was instituted in New Jersey in 2001 after a man charged with DWI was released into the custody of a friend. The friend brought him to his vehicle, according to the state. The man then drove his vehicle away and collided with another car, killing the driver, John Elliott, an ensign in the Navy.
