Renovated Recycling Center will Move to Commingling, Report Says

There's limited economic upside in separating various recyclables at the Glen Rock Recycling Center, according to a report in the Glen Rock Gazette.

When construction is completed, the will mirror many of the recyling processes residents are already accustomed to, according to an article in The Glen Rock Gazette.

The report said that due to declining market demand, the center will move to a comingling process for plastics, glass, tin and aluminim. Newspaper and cardboard will continue to be separated, according to the article.

The , at over $700,000, also improves the parking lot for the nearby municipal pool and athletic fields. Officials were quoted saying it might be but a few weeks before the parking lots are completed.
