
Work to repair the closed RHS footbridge has been delayed due to recent inclement weather, according to Superintendent Daniel Fishbein.
The bridge temporarily re-opened on Saturday to from the 15th annual Ridgewood Lax Day.

The construction bid, , will fix the support issues facing the bridge but will not address flood issues. Many believe the bridge becomes a dam during flood events.
Of the timeline to re-open the bridge to pedestrian and light vehicular traffic, Fishbein said: "Hopefully it will only take a couple weeks and be up in service."
