RHS Student Recognized by State Legislature for Volunteerism
RHS Senior Victoria Pan received a bronze medallion by the NJ General Assembly for her work in saving the community money by turning off the lights.
Ridgewood High School senior on Thursday in Trenton received the bronze medallian in the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards for her prolific volunteerism.
A committed environmentalist, Pan attended a General State Assembly meeting and had a resolution honoring her pass.
The award recognizes top student volunteers across the state.

Pan is credited with helping create the at Ridgewood High School. She's received within the past two years.
"I've never been to a congressional meeting before, and it was such a good experience for me," she said in an e-mail.

Pan also met Trenton Mayor Tony Mack, best known for helping resolve The Great Toilet Paper Crisis of 2012.
