From Bergen To Bergdof's: Ridgewood Commuters Get New Luxury Bus Line
Ridgewood commuters can travel business class on the new "Bergen Bullet" from Boxcar.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Call it the Bergen to Bergdorf's express.
Boxcar launched this week a new luxury bus line that will take commuters business class from Ridgewood and Waldwick to Midtown East. And, of course, one of the pick-up points is Bergdorf Goodman on Fifth and East 57th Street.
"We are all so excited to have Boxcar here," Ridgewood Mayor Paul Vagianos said at the ribbon cutting. "This is an exciting new service that our residents are going to love."

The "Bergen Bullet" picks up at Ridgewood, Waldwick and Ho-Ho-Kus train stations starting at 6 a.m. with return service starting outside the luxury department store at 5:15 p.m., the company said.
Luxury will cost you, though. A single ride goes for $25 a seat ($17 if you're a member.)

“We are happy to welcome Boxcar,” Waldwick Chamber of Commerce president Stan Kowalski said. “Boxcar offers our residents an effortless commute into Manhattan’s East Side that you just can’t beat!”
Boxcar announced the new route in October 2022, stating that it would offer "high-quality service and amenities with a customized midtown route" to get commuters closer to their offices.
Complete with Wi-Fi, power stations at every seat, a clean restroom and a guaranteed seat reserved through Boxcar's system, these "business-class" commuter buses now serve the entire Northern New Jersey area, the company said.
"Expanding our services to help Bergen County commuters has been a goal of ours since 2018, and we are thrilled to be offering (the) service from (the aforementioned towns)," Boxcar CEO Joe Colangelo said.
