Ridgewood Father And Son Electrocuted Near Boat, Then Saved: Report
A father and son from Ridgewood were electrocuted when their boat hit a power line in New York State, but two bystanders helped save them.
NORTH JERSEY, NJ — After a boat hit a power line in Warwick, N.Y., a father and son from Bergen County were electrocuted, but both were saved with help from bystanders, according to a story in the Warwick Beacon.
The story said that after the 55-year-old father from Ridgewood and his 24-year-old son were shocked, but the son regained consciousness. He saw his father "convulsing on the ground and vomiting," the story said. Two bystanders ran over to help administer CPR. The father has since been released from the hospital.
