Ridgewood Gets Into Spooky Spirit With Haunted House, Upcoming Events

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Ridgewood is filling up with goblins and ghosts as residents try to amuse and scare their neighbors for Halloween 2024. This year, Halloween falls on the last Thursday in October.

The administrator of the Facebook group Ridgewood Haunts posted hints, and finally, on Oct. 1, a Halloween house lit up for the season. On both Facebook and Patch, he posted lists of hours on upcoming Fridays and Saturdays for people to walk through the house (see more here).

Meanwhile, the Ridgewood Halloween Maze administrator posted links to haunted tours and more here.

Local farms, the Bergen County Zoo, and officials are also planning spooky events. One real estate group posted a partial rundown of events here.
