Ridgewood House Fire Sends 1 To Hospital: Police
A woman was taken to the hospital following a house fire in Ridgewood late Monday afternoon, police said.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A woman was taken to the hospital due to a fire in Ridgewood late Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Police received a call from an alarm company at 3:30 p.m. reporting a fire alarm on the 800 block of Norgate Drive, said Captain Glenn Ender. The female resident of the home also called 911 around that time.
The woman was the only one home and was able to get out, police said. She was taken to Valley Hospital due to smoke inhalation, Ender said.

Ridgewood Firefighters FMBA Local 47 posted, "B platoon responded to an activated residential fire alarm and a subsequent 911 call for a house fire. Upon arrival a working structure fire was confirmed, recalling the remainder of the department and a few mutual aid towns. The on-duty shift had the fire under control and the recalled members and mutual aid departments assisted with overhaul efforts."
