Alain D. Zaltzman, 20, was arrested after police compared pictures from a Ring doorbell to those taken from a police vehicle's dashcam.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — A Ridgewood man was arrested following a three-week investigation into a package theft at a Dunham Place home, police said.
Alain D. Zaltzman, 20, was charged with theft, said Chief Dean Ackermann. He was identified with the help of the Saddle River Police Department following a motor vehicle stop there.
Glen Rock Detective Lucas Doney and a Saddle River police officer confirmed Zaltzman's identity in the package theft incident by comparing video images from the victim's Ring doorbell system and images from the Saddle Brook officer's vehicle dashboard camera, Ackermann said.
