Ridgewood Man Shot, Killed in Queens

A Ridgewood resident was shot and killed in Queens over the weekend, according to police.

William Klinger, 42, was found “lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his head around 2:30 p.m.” in Astoria Park Saturday, NorthJersey.com reported. He was brought to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have charged Alexander Bonich, 49, from Queens, with second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence, according to CBS.
