Scams Reported, Car Theft Suspect Arrested: Glen Rock Police Blotter
In the past week, Glen Rock police reported two scams and the arrest of a 2021 motor vehicle theft suspect, Chief Dean Ackermann said.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — In the past week, two scams were reported out of Glen Rock, and a suspect in a 2021 motor vehicle theft was arrested and charged. Police are also searching for another 2021 motor vehicle theft suspect, who was just issued an arrest warrant. The following information was summarized from records of the Glen Rock Police Department.
June 20: A Glen Rock resident reported unauthorized credit card charges, and suspected that an estranged family member, who has the credit card, was responsible for the charges. However, the complainant is unable to contact the family member. The matter has been reported to the complainant's credit card company, Chief Dean Ackermann said in a news release.
June 21: A Glen Rock resident reported a fraudulent unemployment claim. The detective bureau continues to receive complaints of this nature and is working with the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice, which investigates these claims, Ackermann said.

An arrest warrant was issued for Zykee Gregory, age 19, last known to reside in Newark, on charges of receiving stolen property over theft of a motor vehicle in March 2021 on Glen Avenue. Police ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gregory to call 201-670-3947 or email ldoney@glenrockpolice.com, Ackermann said.
June 22: A Newark man was arrested on charges of receiving stolen property over theft of a motor vehicle in May 2021 on Cumberland Road. Bobby Mosley, 26, is being held in the Union County jail pending transfer to the Bergen County Jail, Ackermann said.

June 24: Officers found extensive damages were done overnight to the men's bathroom at Wilde Memorial Park, and are asking anyone with information to contact the police department at 201-652-3800, police said.
