Photo: Drought Hits the Pond

Pray for rain, and lots of it. The weeks with little-to-no water has caught up to the area.

While residents and business owners are subject to , as the photo above demonstrates, the local ponds haven't fared well without replenishment. 

The photo taken by reader Megan shows the Glen Rock side of the county park on Saturday afternoon. The water level looked largely the same Wednesday, if a bit lower.

Storms could bring about a half-inch of rain by Thursday morning, though considering the weeks without water it likely won't make a big dent.
