Second Glen Rock Transformer Fire In 2 Months Stops Traffic: PD

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Police patrols and firefighters responded to an underground transformer fire on Rock Road in the Central Business District last Thursday, the Glen Rock Police Department said.

A loud explosion followed power loss and heavy smoke from a transformer, according to those who called 9-1-1. No injuries or other damages were reported.

This was the second incident in just under two months, Glen Rock PD said.
