The time is now for youth to sign up for a shot on the Maroons Soccer Club teams. Tryouts for boys and girls aged 8-14 are on May 7, 12, 19; and also on June. These teams will compete for the fall 2012 and spring 2013 seasons.
Signups are completed on the Community Pass system. There is a $20 tryout registration fee to cover the cost of fields and trainer support. A list of players selected on each team will be posted in mid-late June. Players then have to register for the applicable program they'll be in.
The tryout organizers are asking that youth show up 20 minutes early. Those with two tryout dates must attend both dates. All players should bring a photo to tryouts with their name labeled on the back to help evaluators determine skill levels and team makeup.
