Small Fire in Vacancy Briefly Shuts Down Glen Rock Downtown
No injuries were reported at Monday morning's fire on Rock Road next to The Market at RoCCa.
A construction worker using an electric saw at a vacant storefront in Glen Rock caused a small fire Monday morning.
According to a responder at the scene of 193 Rock Road, the electric saw was being used to remove a bank safe, but sent sparks toward the wall between neighboring store . The fire occurred at around 10 a.m.
The small fire briefly closed down The Market at RoCCa, which was reopened by about 10:30 a.m. Rock Road was shut down between Main Street and Glen Avenue. No injuries were reported, the responder said.

The vacancy, formerly a bank, sustained minor smoke damage. The smoke at the popular eatery quickly dissipated.
