Bus Stop Dispute Leads To Arrest In Ridgewood: Police

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — New Jersey State Police arrested a 41-year-old man on Monday at a Ridgewood bus stop, while responding to a report of an assault in progress, an official with the state police force said.

Christopher O. Milton, of Brentwood, New York, was involved in what turned out to only be a verbal dispute at the Park and Ride on 575 State Route 17, police said.

State troopers went to the bus stop and arrested Milton on an unrelated warrant, and then took him to the Bergen County Jail, police said.
