Teen And Man Sexually Assaulted Chlid In Several Bergen County Towns: Prosecutors
A teen and a man were charged for assaulting a child several times over 11 months, said Bergen County Prosecutors.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Two Bergen County men have been charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly assaulting a child under 16 in several towns, prosecutors said.
Luis Rosas, 20, of Ridgefield, and Josue E. Catalan, 19, of Cliffside Park, have been charged with the crimes, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office
Prosecutors says that last Sunday, the county Special Victims Unit began investigating a sexual assault of a child under 16 that occurred on multiple occasions and in different towns in Bergen County.

Police determined that Catalan sexually assaulted the victim on three separate occasions in Cliffside Park over 11 months.
Luis Rosas sexually assaulted and endangered the victim in Ridgefield on April 24 of this year and on a prior occasion in late 2024, police said.

Rosas was arrested April 28 and taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack. He was ordered released to await further court action.
Catalan was arrested last Tuesday and made a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack. He was also released to await further court action.
