Three Glen Rock Schools Show 'Highest Progress' to State

Central, Byrd and Hamilton show "highest levels of student growth," according to NJ Department of Education.

Three elementary schools in Glen Rock have demonstrated the highest standard of progress, according to the NJ Department of Education.

Out of 112 schools selected to the state “Reward Schools” list, , and all come from the borough.

Each of the schools was labeled a "Highest Progress" performer, meaning they are “schools that have high levels of student growth, measured using their median Student Growth Percentiles (SGP) over time,” according to the NJ DOE.

The Reward Schools will have an opportunity to share best practices with other schools. They are not Title I schools, so the Glen Rock reward trio will not be eligible for any additional funding through the designation.
