Thyrza DiModugno Passes at Age 47

Thyrza Lohr DiModugno, 47, died on November 21.

Born in Bethlehem PA, Thyrza grew up in Darien, CT, graduated high school from The American School of Paris in St. Cloud, FR and college from Goucher College in Towson, MD.  She was a store manager for the B. Witching Bath Company in Ridgewood.  

She is survived by her husband William (Bill) DiModugno and their children Emily, Darcy and Grace, all of Ridgewood; her father George William Lohr Jr. of Landrum, SC; her brother George William Lohr III and wife Maureen; her sister Christina Lohr Ablon and husband Stuart, of Wellesley, MA.; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Christina Vedder Lohr in 1997.

Visiting will be Saturday, December 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Avenue, Ridgewood. The funeral mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. at , Ridgewood.  

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Thyrza’s name to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (www.komen.org) or the Sister Lucy Fund, 1 Passaic Street, Ridgewood, NJ  07450.
