Tuesday: A Tragedy Remembered 20 Years Later
It's the 20th anniversary of the tragic post office shooting

1) Joseph Harris, a disgruntled ex-postal employee, took the lives of four people twenty years ago today. A plaque is dedicated to the lives of the postal employees who perished that day. 2) The Ridgewood Zoning Board of Adjustment will be meeting at 7:30 p.m. with a few hot applications. The board will consider a use variance to Red Mango at the site of the old Quiznos (currently restricted under the 'fast food ordinance') and an application to put up a Verizon cell tower at Valleau Cemetary.
3) The Ridgewood Public Library will be host to the "Palisades Amusement Park Fond Memories of Days Gone By" event at 7:00 p.m., which includes a slideshow and lecture by author Vince Gargiulo.
