Tuesday: A Tragedy Remembered 20 Years Later

1) Joseph Harris, a disgruntled ex-postal employee, took the lives of four people twenty years ago today. 2) The Ridgewood Zoning Board of Adjustment will be meeting at 7:30 p.m. with a few hot applications. The board will consider a use variance to Red Mango at the site of the old Quiznos (currently restricted under the 'fast food ordinance') and an application to put up a Verizon cell tower at Valleau Cemetary.

3) The Ridgewood Public Library will be host to the "Palisades Amusement Park Fond Memories of Days Gone By" event at 7:00 p.m., which includes a slideshow and lecture by author Vince Gargiulo.

4) More nice weather, ain't that grand? Weather forecasts are predicting sun, fun and 75 degrees and a breeze.

5) Kids are back in school today after a break for the Jewish holidays and Columbus Day.
