Vehicles Vandalized In Ridgewood, Police Report
The pump house at Veterans' Field was damaged this week, police said.
RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Here is a look at incidents reported by the Ridgewood Police Department this week.
On May 22, a North Maple Avenue business owner responded to Ridgewood Police headquarters to report a customer made payment for services render with a fraudulent check on a closed account. The victim requested documentation of the incident.
Patrolman Patrick Daly responded to investigate criminal mischief damage the pump house on located on Veteran’s Field on May 23, which was reported by the Ridgewood Signal Department. The door handle was discovered to have been damaged. There were no signs of entry. The Ridgewood Detective Bureau responded and is investigating the incident.

On May 23, a Midland Park resident responded to Ridgewood Police headquarters to report criminal mischief damage to a motor vehicle. The vehicle had been parked on Walton Street in the Village of Ridgewood at the time the damage occurred. The amount of damage is unknown at this time.
A Franklin Avenue resident responded to Ridgewood Police headquarters on Tuesday to report criminal mischief damage to a vehicle. The victim reported between May 24 and 27, someone maliciously damaged his parked vehicle by scratching the vehicle with a sharp object.
