Week in Review: Aronsohn Slate Victorious, Pizza-Involved Crash, 'Totting' Goes Viral

There's been a big shakeup in village government with incumbent Paul Aronsohn and Albert Pucciarelli being voted into office. The third of Aronsohn's team, Gwenn Hauck, defeated Mayor Keith Killion by a very narrow margin.

Ridgewood Police Chief John Ward left Ridgewood for Washington D.C. with little more than his bicycle to raise awareness and money for families of officers killed in the line of duty.

In more lighthearted news this week, a construction worker lost control of his boss' van and struck a tree. Contemplating a sure tongue-lashing from his employer, he scarfed down some pizza and soda as a tow truck whisked away the disabled vehicle.

Construction workers struck a bank safe with an electrical saw Monday morning and created a small fire in the borough. Roads and businesses were briefly shut down and the small fire quickly contained.

Four Glen Rock High School students have been YouTube darlings with their unorthodox game – "totting". The game involves performing trick shots whereby the group throw marshmellows into eachother's mouths across from buildings, above trains and...well...just see for yourself.
