Week in Review: School Fire, Food in Flood Plain, New Council

To the surprise of few, top vote-getters Paul Aronsohn and Albert Pucciarelli were named as mayor and deputy mayor of Ridgewood, respectively, at the re-org meeting. Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) presided over the ceremony, one that said heartfelt goodbyes to former mayor Keith Killion, Councilman Steve Wellinghorst and the late Anne Zusy. Gwenn Hauck was also sworn in as a council member.

You won't exactly see a Cronk-Vellis-style takedown this year, but the new council did ever-so-slightly knock down former council candidate Jane Shinozuka down a peg.
