West Bergen Gearing Up for 'Grand Slam for Kids' Event
Women's tennis, champagne toasts, a fashion show and some singing highlight the event, held at the Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes on June 6.

Grand Slam models, sponsors and volunteers met at Yansi Fugel’s Flagship Store on East Ridgewood Avenue in the Village to discuss upcoming plans for the Grand Slam for West Bergen’s Kids, set for Wednesday, June 6th at the Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes, N.J.
Joining Maryann Eftoski, Yansi Fugel manager (far left) were Deirdre Ward, Social Editor for (201) Magazine and The Ridgewood News; Lee Schaeffer, West Bergen’s Chief Operating Officer; Kerri Kane, volunteer, Suffern, NY; Diana Dolling-Ross, V.P. at Town & Country Apothecary; Mary Jane Bainbridge, Waldwick, Secretary, West Bergen Board of Trustees; Pat Hanratty, volunteer, Montvale; Sally Grinch, volunteer, Ridgewood; H. Carleton Clinch, sponsor, Ridgewood and Michael Tozzoli, West Bergen’s CEO.
The all-day event will begin with women’s tennis at 9:45 AM, lunch at noon, including a champagne toast and the Fashion Show and a special singing performance by Talina Toscano, a talented 13-year old, representing the autistic community. (Tennis is presently closed, but we are accepting names for a waiting list.)
Tickets are $75 per person. The event will benefit West Bergen’s programs and services for youngsters on the Autistic Spectrum. Purchase tickets online at www.westbergen.org or by contacting Carol at (201) 444-3550.
