What Should Replace Blend?

The nightclub/restaurant called it curtains this week.

Popular Ridgewood nightclub/restaurant Blend was on the wrong end of last call this week, for the second time in less than five years.

Landlord Ed Sullivan is looking for a new tenant to lease the 14,000 square foot multi-level space complete with a back patio on Chestnut Street.

The building is fitted for a restaurant and bar, and Sullivan also holds one of Ridgewood's highly valued liquor licenses.

There have been some suggestions already as to what should replace Blend – a Latin dance club, or a wine loft – but here's your chance to add your $0.02.

It's possible some reader suggestions for the Bank of America property () could work. A small performance theater, perhaps? Upscale steakhouse? Microbrew pub?
