The Borough of River Edge received its new electronic message board earlier this week. The message board replaces an older message board that was encased in plastic. The old message board was damaged during the spring Nor'easter and the borough used a reimbursement from the insurance company to purchase the new message board.
Messages will be posted on the electronic version through a computer program inside the Clerk's Office, highlighting meeting dates, upcoming events or notifications from the Police about road closures.
