Classic for the Soul

Oradell Special Events Committee will present "Classic for the Soul," a musical recital by award-winning 18-year-old Oradell pianist Drew Petersen, on Tuesday, Feb. 14 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the River Dell High School Auditorium.

has performed solo and concerto recitals in both Europe and the United States. He began piano lessons at the age of 5 and has studied with Miyoko Lotto, David Bradshaw and Diane Battersby. By the age of 10, Petersen began conducting under the tutelage of Maestro Jonathan Strasser and Maestro David Gilbert. He was the youngest student ever accepted into the Manhattan School of Music Conducting Program and he hopes to become a performing pianist, composer and conductor.

Tickets at the door are $25 per person.
