Youth Committee at Gilda’s Club NNJ Seeking Students for “Teen Talent Show” Competition

 The Youth Committee of Gilda’s Club Northern New Jersey will hold its first annual teen talent contest, Gilda’s Got Talent,on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the Gilda’s Club NNJ clubhouse in Hackensack. The event will showcase the talent of Bergen County high school students who will compete for a variety of prizes.

Interested high school students with a special talent to share are encouraged to audition for the show by submitting a YouTube video, DVD or CD along with a completed application to Debbie Vincent, youth programs manager at Gilda’s Club NNJ at DVincent@gildasclubnnj.org or mail to 575 Main Street Hackensack, NJ 07601 – no later than April 9, 2012.

Comprised of students from both private and public high schools in Bergen County, Gilda’s Club NNJ’s Youth Committee participates in fundraising and community outreach events in support of Gilda’s Club NNJ.

The Youth Committee currently has members from the following schools: Pascack Valley Regional HS, Northern Valley Regional HS, Bergen Tech, Teaneck HS, Bergen County Academies, Academy of the Holy Angels and New Milford High School.

Tickets to Gilda’s Got Talent are currently available at the Gilda’s Club NNJ clubhouse for $5 each and will also be available at the door the night of the performance.
