Advance tickets must be bought by May 9 the latest
If you have not yet purchased your tickets for the annual Taste of Oradell event, hosted by ad hoc committee, made up of current 4th grade parents, to raise funds for the fifth grade Sharpe Program, time is running out. Advance tickets for $40 must be ordered by May 9 by printing the attached PDF form or emailing Pat Murphy.
The fundraiser event will be held on May 18, 7:30-11pm at the Murphy house on East Drive. This event will bring together merchants of Oradell and its vicinities in a casual and fun setting.
For over 25 years, the 5th grade students have been able to participate in an once-in-a-lifetime experience known as the Sharpe Program. This program is an annual camping trip to the Sharpe Reservation that brings to life subject areas such as forest ecology, geology, plants and animals and environmental conservation.

Since the New Jersey school budgets were significantly reduced a few years ago, the Sharpe Program was left unfunded. Each fifth grade class has wanted to carry on the 25+ year tradition by raising money to allow the trip to continue and ensure that every student in the class is able to attend.
Residents of Oradell, Emerson, Westwood, Dumont, New Milford, River Edge or other neighboring towns are invited to attend and participate in the silent auction/"tricky tray", meet with local business owners, and enjoy the Tastes of Oradell.
