Marulis Raises Awareness of Gilda’s Club NNJ
Oradell Eagle Scout goes above and beyond service to Club

Troop 36 Boy Scout and Oradell resident, Craig Marulis, takes a moment to organize a closet at Gilda’s Club NNJ as part of his month-long final Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project to raise awareness for the not-for-profit cancer support organization.
As part of his final project, Marulis collected in-kind donations through a town-wide supply drive to benefit Gilda’s Club. He organized his fellow troops and went door-to- door to deliver an itemized “wish list” from Gilda’s Club, along with information about the clubhouse. He also created a drop box for the local library to collect additional items.
In addition to the food drive, Marulis had discovered a closet at Gilda’s Club that went overlooked during its 2009 renovations. He took it upon himself to completely refurbish the space – including painting and putting up new shelves.
