River Dell Educators To Host Program For Career-Focused Students
Officials will speak about improving educational opportunities for students who will go into the workforce after graduation.

ORADELL, NJ — Local educators and those from three other Bergen County school districts will host a meeting Tuesday geared for students who plan on entering the workforce immediately after they graduate high school.
The Boards of Education for the River Dell Regional, Ridgewood, Ramsey, and Saddle River school districts will host the meeting at 7 p.m. at Ramsey High School.
The meeting will provide students and their families with information on the wide range of post-secondary opportunities available to them.

Vince DeLucia, the New Jersey School Boards Association's director of training and professional development, will speak about how career-bound students can be better prepared for their futures.
DeLucia will focus on the recommendations of a report by the association's Task Force on Educational Opportunities for the Non-College-Bound Learner.

The task force worked for nearly a year to identify strategies to better equip career-focuses students to enter the workforce with the proper skills.
