River Dell Freshman Produce Winning Anti-Bullying Video

Jaime Alvarez, Yasmine Khaddage, Charles Young and Taylor Palizzi won the 2012 Don't Stand by for Bullying video contest

Last week, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli announced the winners of the 2012 “Don’t Stand By for Bullying” contest where River Dell freshmen Jaime Alvarez, Yasmine Khaddage, Charles Young and Taylor Palizzi produced the ninth grade winning anti-bullying video.

“In this, the second year of our contest, we have seen a 25% increase in the number of schools participating, “said Prosecutor Molinelli. “We are eager to partner with Bergen County educators in keeping young people focused on eliminating bullying behavior.”

The contest was open to all Bergen County students as they were challenged to “tell us how you won’t just stand by and let bullying happen.” The winning River Dell team made a video presentation about bullying which can be found here. It is the second video of three posted on the Prosecutor's website.
