River Dell Hawks See Best Baseball Season in 40 Years
Hawks make it to the final round of the Bergen County Baseball Tournament for the first time in 40 years, losing to St. Joe's.

The River Dell Hawks finished a stellar season ending with a 24-7 record, falling to St. Joe's in the final game of the Bergen County Baseball Tournament. This season's record ties the single season record for most wins and most games played in River Dell's history.
The Hawks made it to the final game of the Bergen County Baseball Tournament for the first time in 40 years, finishing the tournament as the County's top public school, second place overall. Their tournament play included an epic quarter final round 3-2 upset win over cross-town rival Bergen Catholic.
Head coach Brandon Flanagan was named Bergen County Coach of the Year by the BCCA, and the Big North, Patriot Division Coach of the Year.
The team, lead by nine seniors -- Tim Barnes, Alex D'Esposito, Evan Drummond, Ryan Duran, Brandon Martinez, Anthony Nastasi, George Psihoules, Joey Schwartz, and Andrew Stengel -- earned the following individual honors:
