Multiple Downed Trees Block Ridgewood Roads

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The storm that swept through the region Friday felled trees and closed roads around Ridgewood, according to Township Manager Keith Kazmark.

"Crews are addressing downed trees on Grove Street and East Saddle River Road,” Kazmark said in a social media post. “Please avoid these areas as they complete their work."

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service warned that wind gusts could down trees and wires later on Friday, with gusts of up to 41 MPH predicted in the county.
