The national chain earned 100% of the vote and has two locations: not far from the Garden State Plaza and  near Paramus Park. Both locations feature apparel and equipment for sports, recreation and physical fitness. Activewear, fan gear and fitness wear are offered in sizes for the whole family. This store also sells bicycles, sneakers, fishing gear, weights and equipment for sports including football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse and hiking, among others. Founded in Lakes Mall in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, Sports Authority opened its first store in November 1987 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A few years, Kmart acquired the company and then in 2003, Sports Authority merged with <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gart_Sports" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Gart Sports</a>. There are over 460 stores in 45 U.S. states under the Sports Authority name.
