Trio Earn All-County Boys' Honors on the Pitch

Three members of the 2012 Bergen Catholic varsity squad were named to All-County teams

Despite a 10-9-1 record for the season, three Crusaders picked up All-County honors this fall. Defender Robert Quigley and forward Travis Nitti made Third Team All-County with forward Jared Dublin being named Honorable Mention.

Quigley, a senior, may not be a scoring machine but he instead contributes in his own fashion by leading the backline to keep the opposing forwards out of the box. This past season, only 30 goals were made by getting past Quigley.

In his junior year, Nitti added to his career totals by netting 12 goals bringing his overall count up to 15. He is this season's all time scoring and assists leader for Bergen Catholic. A member of the USSDA Matchfit Academy, he still has one more season to play for the Crusaders.

Dublin, also a senior, will be heading to Monmouth University and will don the Hawks' colors next fall after netting 13 career goals for Bergen Catholic. He competes with club team FC Westchester.
