Week Ahead: Oradell Introduces 2012 Budget
A quick glance at what's coming up this week in River Dell

The Oradell Council will be introducing their on Tuesday, 7pm after not having the full governing body at the April work session.
The American Cancer Society, ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA) and The Mount Sinai Medical Center will honor River Dell student Shannon Hogan for her anti-smoking T-Shirt design at the Board Meeting on Monday, 8pm.
The Monday 7pm River Edge Mayor and Council work session will feature an update on moving forward with a new HVAC system at .

Little League Opening Day for River Edge and Oradell is Saturday. Oradell's opening day ceremonies begin at 9am on Muehleck field with games being played every two hours. River Edge starts at 10am at the ball fields behind Veteran's Memorial Park.
REGAL's Opening Day ceremonies start at 2pm on Sunday with the first pitch at 2:45pm at Kenneth B. George fields. Following the end of the cermonies, the first seniors softball game will be played at 3:30pm.

The will screen the award winning Holocaust documentary, "Only A Number," on Wednesday, April 25 at 1:00 p.m. with an in-person introduction and post-screening Q&A by the film's executive producer and director, Steve Besserman. Besserman's documentary is a moving tribute, telling the story of his parents who are survivors of the Holocaust, how they met in a concentration camp about a month before they were liberated by the U.S. Army.
Games of the WeekTrack
River Dell and Bergen Catholic will spend Thursday through Saturday competing at the Penn Relays, Franklin Field, Philadelphia, Pa. Matt Koh will represent the Hawks in the shot put. Prior to the Relays, River Dell is at Mahwah on Tuesday, 4:15pm while the Crusaders travel across Rt. 17 to Paramus Catholic, 4pm on Monday.
Baseball
Bergen Catholic will need to be at their best this week as the Crusaders take on Paramus Catholic (Monday, 7pm), Don Bosco (Wednesday, 4pm in Ramsey), West Milford (Thursday, 4pm) and J.F. Kennedy (Friday, 4:15pm).
River Dell spends the early part of the week on the road heading to Mahwah (Monday, 4:15pm) and Cliffside Park (Wednesday, 4:15pm) before returning home on Friday to host Bergenfield, 4:15pm.
Softball
The Lady Hawks have a tough schedule this week starting off with Mahwah at home on Monday, 4:15pm. The week doesn't get any easier with Cliffside Park on Wendesday, 4:15pm at home; and then on the road to Jefferson (Thursday, 4:30pm) and Bergenfield (Friday, 4:15pm).
Lacrosse
The Crusaders will face two of the best teams in the County with St. Joseph Regional of Montvale on Monday (away, 4:30pm) and Ramapo on Thursday (home, 4pm).
River Dell takes on Paramus Catholic at home on Monday, 5pm and then heads over to Demarest on Friday, 4:15pm.
The Lady Hawks face stiff competition this week, drawing Dwight Englewood on Tuesday (home, 3:30pm) and then Fair Lawn on Thursday (home, 4:30pm) and spends Saturday morning at Waldwick, 10am.
Golf
Bergen is on the courses everyday this week with Old Tappan on Monday (3pm), Delbarton on Tuesday (3:15pm), Hackensack on Wednesday (3pm), the Brunswick Invitational on Thursday (12:30pm) and Paramus on Friday (3pm).
River Dell has a lighter week at Rockleigh on Monday (Dumont, 4pm) and Wednesday (Ridgefield Park, 4pm) and returns to the Hackensack County Club on Thursday (Paramus, 4pm).
Tennis
The Crusaders are home all week except for Wednesday when they head to Don Bosco. Home matches include Paramus Catholic (Monday), Montclair Kimberley Academy (Thursday) and JF Kennedy (Friday). All matches begin at 4pm.
River Dell splits the week at home and on the road will all matches starting at 4:15pm. Home games include New Milford on Tuesday and Bergenfield on Friday; away games are Mahwah on Monday, Cliffside Park on Wednesday and Hoboken on Thursday.
Volleyball
Rolling high, Bergen looks to topple Teaneck on Monday (away, 4pm), Wayne Hills on Tuesday (home, 4pm) and then Don Bosco on Friday (away, 3:30pm).
