Week Ahead: Waterworks Public Hearing Set Before Freeholders
A quick look at what is coming up this week in RiverDell

On Monday evening, the Bergen County Open Space Trust Fund committee will hold a to restore the to the historic Hackensack Waterworks in Oradell. Freeholder Vice Chairman John Felice had previously proposed it to Saddle River but on March 22 reversed his and voted to restore the funding. The hearing will be held at 6pm in the Freeholder Public meeting room.
Both the River Edge and Oradell elementary school boards of Education are scheduled to meet on Wednesday, 7:30pm. Oradell will meet at OPS while River Edge will be at Roosevelt School.

Track
Coming off the Penn Relays, River Dell takes on Tenafly, Pascack Valley and Bergenfield in Tuesday's quad meet, 4:15pm at home and then heads up to Ramsey for Thursday's Ironman Invitational, 4pm at Don Bosco. The Crusaders have the week off from competing.

Baseball
On a losing streak, Bergen needs to find its stride against Ramapo on Wednesday (at Rockland Boulder Stadium) at 7pm; at Passaic on Friday, 4pm and then at Dumont on Saturday, 2pm.
River Dell is looking to continue its winning streak in their four-game week: Pascack Valley at home Monday, 4:15pm; at Tenafly on Wednesday, 4:15pm; Westwood at home Friday, 4:15pm; and against Hackensack at home Saturday, 2pm.
Softball
The Lady Hawks won't get any breaks this week by heading to Pascack Valley on Monday, returning home to face Tenafly on Wednesday and then on the road to Westwood on Friday. All games start at 4:15pm.
Lacrosse
The Crusaders take on Mountain Lakes on Monday, 4pm in Oradell before starting the County tournament on Saturday.
River Dell splits the week away-home starting with a road trip to Dwight-Englewood on Monday, 4:15pm and returns to face Waldwick on Wednesday, 5pm.
The Lady Hawks don't have an easy week with Paramus on Monday (home, 4:30pm), Clifton on Wednesday (away, 4pm), Fair Lawn on Friday (home, 4:30pm) and then Mt. St. Dominic on Senior Day for Saturday (home, 2:30pm).
Golf
Bergen starts at 3pm Monday through Thursday this week with Ridgewood to start at the Valley Brook Golf Club; the Arcola Invitational at the Arcola Country Club Tuesday, Bergen Tech at the Ridgewood Country Club Wednesday and then finishes the week at the Edgewood Country Club against Pascack Hills.
The Hawks, led by Scott Kim and Max Barnett, take on Fort Lee on Monday at Rockleigh, Waldwick on Tuesday at Valley Brook and then Demarest on Wednesday at Rockleigh. Tee-off is 4pm.
Tennis
The Crusaders are primary on the road drawing Hackensack (Monday), De Paul (Wednesday) and Passaic (Friday) with the lone home match against Paramus Catholic (Thursday). Match time is 4pm.
River Dell spends the bulk of the week in Oradell taking on Pascack Valley (Monday), Paramus (Tuesday), Bergenfield (Thursday) and Westwood (Friday) with a roadtrip on Wednesday to Tenafly. Matches start at 4:15pm.
Volleyball
Rolling high, Bergen is home on Monday against Kennedy and Wednesday against Hackensack and on Saturday heads to Fair Lawn at 2:30pm. Monday and Wednesday's games start at 4pm.
