• Law Enforcement Announces Arrest for Carjacking and Kidnapping Incident in Randolph (tapinto.net) — A Roselle resident has been charged in a high-profile kidnapping and carjacking case that began at County College of Morris in Randolph and ended with a multi-agency police pursuit. Authorities say the adult victim was found handcuffed in the suspect’s vehicle, and numerous serious charges have been filed while the investigation continues. The defendant remains presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
   

• West Essex-Caldwell defeats Cranford - Boys ice hockey recap (nj.com subscription) — A boys ice hockey matchup at Warinaco Park in Roselle saw West Essex-Caldwell blank Cranford 6-0 behind four goals from standout Cale White. The winning side dominated shots and special teams, converting four power plays while Cranford went scoreless with the man advantage. Local fans at the Roselle rink witnessed a one-sided performance in net and on offense.
