• Holiday Sing-Along and Story Time is Coming to Roselle Park Veterans Memorial Library (tapinto.net) — Families in Roselle Park can head to the Veterans Memorial Library this Saturday, Dec. 20, at 11 a.m. for a Holiday Sing-Along & Story Time featuring Mrs. Claus, Santa, and festive stories. The program is geared toward young children, with photos, songs, and seasonal fun in a cozy setting. Roselle Park residents get priority registration, with sign-ups opening earlier than for out-of-towners. 
• Ice Hockey: Three stars and daily stat leaders from Dec. 13-14 (nj.com subscription) — Roselle Park hockey fans can celebrate as co-op team Johnson-Dayton-Roselle Park’s Jack Kalikas earned third star honors after scoring twice in a 3-2 win over Hoboken-Weehawken-Secaucus. The statewide roundup highlights standout performances and stat leaders from games played Dec. 13-14. It’s a nice early-season boost for the Crusaders after a rough start.
