Better Deals For Holidays On Tap At Rumson Riverfront Restaurant

Rumson's Salt Creek Grille expands happy hour and adds new new Deal Days, owners say.

RUMSON, NJ — Salt Creek Grille at 4 Bingham Ave. is serving up more savings for the holiday season, it announced.

Co-owner Steve Bidgood and General Manager Mark Shopene have expanded the happy hours in the bar and lounge area, and have added new happenings with discounted prices available throughout the restaurant all night.

  • Salt Creek Grille’s expanded happy hours in the bar and lounge now include Sundays. The hours are Monday to Friday, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Select house wines by the glass are $3 off; J. Lohr wine by the glass, $2 off; $2 off all draft beers including local artisan beers. Well drinks are $8 or $9. Specialty cocktails for $11 during happy hour include White Pear Cosmo, SCG Margarita, “The Original” Old Fashioned, Frontier Manhattan, SCG Classic Martini, with Ketel One or Tanqueray.

  • Mondays: All wine bottles are half off.
  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays: Half off all wines by the glass.
  • Thirsty Thursdays: Half off all draft beer, available throughout the restaurant.

The deals are now in effect and will continue into the New Year. There are also savings on gift cards - just ask about the restaurant's promotion.

Salt Creek Grille will serve special a la carte dinner and sushi on Christmas Eve from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and New Year’s Eve from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Christmas Day.

Regular dinner hours and menus will resume on New Year’s Day. Salt Creek Grille is open daily for cocktails at 4 p.m. and dinner service at 5 p.m.
