Celebrity Chef David Burke can now not only cater your wedding but also marry you.
RUMSON, NJ — It's the ultimate wedding for foodies. Chef David Burke, who was once dubbed “Culinary Prankster” by NYC food critics, is now an ordained minister, according to an official statement.
With wedding experts predicting that intimate, food-centric weddings will become more popular in the future, chef Burke's team offers New Jersey couples a personalized wedding that combines an exquisite location with gourmet cuisine. The option for wedding couples to have Chef David Burke marry them is also on the horizon.
Burke introduced this new venture at The Château Grande Hotel in East Brunswick earlier this month. According to Karen Irvine, a media representative for Chef Burke, Drifthouse, one of Burke's Rumson eateries, will also hold small weddings.
