Festival of Trees and Open House Dec. 5 at TweedleDee Antiques in Fair Haven
The "Festival of Trees and Open House" at TweedleDee Antiques & Such in Fair Haven is free, and takes place on Friday, Dec. 5.

On Friday evening, December 5, head to TweedleDee Antiques & Such for the free event “Festival of Trees and Open House”.
This quaint, seven-room shop packed with antiques and collectible vintage ornaments and Christmas trees has a reputation for generosity and giving back to the community, and on Friday evening there will be something extra special, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 at the 810 River Road location.
Diane Geirsh of Rumson, professional performer and vocalist, will lead TweedleDee’s visitors in holiday songs and caroling. From “Jingle Bells” to “ The 12 Days of Christmas”, the audience will be encouraged to join Ms.Geirsh in song.

There will be refreshments for young and old, including a “ warming” station for the grown- ups. A huge Santa Stocking filled with free gifts to be distributed to the younger TweedleDee visitors is already hanging by the fireplace!
To top off the festivities, Laura Kent, TweedleDee’s creator and owner, has decorated seven trees in honor of seven charity organizations, “in the spirit of the holidays”.

“This is the season of giving,” Kent said. “This ‘Festival of Trees’ is my way of thanking the community for the wonderful volunteer activity that goes on all year long.”

Guests may donate directly into a canister labeled for each tree, or they may choose to donate at the check-out counter.
Kent invites everyone to join her and the staff at TweedleDee Antiques & Such in thanking all the charities’ local volunteers and to enjoy what promises to be a wonderful evening of music, food and fun!
