Former Rumson Resident, Joseph Cadamuro, Dies Suddenly at 49

Services begin on Monday.



Former Rumson resident Joseph J. Cadamuro passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at home. He was 49.

Born in Hoboken, Joseph was raised in Rumson and lived in Red Bank before moving to Long Branch. Joseph most enjoyed bringing laughter and cheers to many friends and his family.

"We cannot put into words our expressions of sadness and sorrow," his obituary from John E. Day Funeral Home said. "It is easy to remember the best of times; the fun and laughter given by our brother Joseph who always had his head held high and found humor in the most difficult of circumstances."

Joseph is predeceased by: his parents, Norbert and Elaine Cadamuro.

He is survived by: daughter, Emily; grandson, Logan; his two brothers, David Cadamuro, and John Cadamuro, his wife, Barbara and their son, John; his sister, Linda McBurney and her husband Patrick.

A memorial will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, on Monday, Oct. 28, from 6 to 9 p.m.

A service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 10 a.m. with burial of cremated remains to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Middletown.
