It's what's going on in the Rumson-Fair Haven area this week.

Did you get to the Red Bank Halloween Parade? It was a perfect day for a parade. Check out our pics.

Speaking of perfect day, it looks like we're in for another today. And, it looks like most of the week is going to be nice with the high temperature today of 67 degrees, except for a pesky chance of rain mid-week.

Monday ...

• We have a feature on the new vice principal of RFH, a round-up of top stories from last week, in case you missed anything, and some tidbits, like the Rumson pup who won a prize in the Red Bank Halloween parade.

• And, there's more coming ...

Tuesday …

• The Rumson Garden Club meets at 11 a.m. at Rumson Country Club. The subject of the meeting will be Bayscaping and representatives from the American Littoral Society, based on Sandy Hook, will offer input.

• Rumson Mayor and Council meet at 7:30 p.m. at Borough Hall on East River Road.

• River Road Books in Fair Haven is featuring a reading and discussion from/with author Michael Nethercott, who wrote The Seance Society, highlighting a ghost story motif.  

Wednesday ...

• Both Rumson and Fair Haven boards of education meet at 7:30 p.m. at Forrestdale and Knollwood schools, respectively.

Thursday …

• Author Kimberly Kolb will be at River Road Books talking about her book Lindsey: Love and Intrigue and high school experiences.

Friday …

• The usual seasonal ghost tours will be leaving the Dublin House in Red Bank at about 8:30 p.m.

• And gear up the Haunted Theater at Brookdale Community College from 7 to 10:30 p.m.
