Rumson Police Dons Pink Patches For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

RUMSON, NJ — Breast cancer awareness month is not going unnoticed by the Rumson Police Department.

During October, officers will be wearing pink-lined patches on their uniforms to help bring attention to the issue.

According to statistics shared by the department, breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in American women except for skin cancers and one in eight women will be diagnosed with it in her lifetime.
