Take The Trolley To Shop Local In Fair Haven This Saturday

FAIR HAVEN, NJ —The town will be buzzing on Saturday with shopping, fun and food - and trolley rides.

It's all part of Fair Haven's Shop Small Saturday this Nov. 26, the borough says.

The trolley will pick up and discharge passengers on the west and east sides of town from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. so shoppers can visit business in the borough.

New to the trolley route this year is a stop at Bicentennial Hall, which will hold its first annual open house on Saturday.

There will be tree decorating and festive music. There is also a holiday mocktail demonstration planned, gift wrapping and ornament making for kids.

As an added plus, Fair Haven historian Pat Drummond will be on hand, the borough says.

Shopping local is a way to support the community, the borough says. Local businesses are generous to nonprofits. And they often good for the environment because they have a smaller carbon footprint than large stores.
