Water Main Break In Red Bank May Impact Some Fair Haven Homes

RED BANK, NJ — Red Bank residents might see their water pressure and color impacted due to damage to a water main break on River Road and Harrison Avenue.

Work is in progress to repair the break as quickly as possible, according to an alert from the Borough of Fair Haven, whose residents serviced by Red Bank Water will also be affected.

Residents can expect a temporary decrease in water pressure and discoloration of their water.

Fire hydrants will be opened to relieve the water pressure. Once they are closed, residents will need to run water faucets until the water is clear.
