• Sea Isle City has "shady" plans for popular playground (seaislenews.com) — Sea Isle City’s new five-year capital plan sets aside $600,000 in 2026 to finally add a shade structure at the busy JFK Boulevard playground, responding to years of parent requests. The $50.1 million plan also funds new pumping stations, road and drainage upgrades, emergency services equipment, and other infrastructure projects aimed at reducing flooding and improving daily life across the island. 
• Ocean City students spread holiday cheer with handmade cards for veterans (seaislenews.com) — Ocean City students created more than 300 handmade holiday cards for veterans, which were collected by the VFW Post 1963 Auxiliary based in Sea Isle City. Auxiliary president Peggy Moore then delivered the cards to several South Jersey veterans facilities, giving local students a hands-on lesson in gratitude while brightening the season for those who served.
