U.S. Congress: Secaucus is in the 9th Congressional District. This district has long been represented by Congressman Bill Pascrell, a Democrat. Pascrell was first elected to Congress in 1996. He will be challenged again this year by Billy Prempeh, a Republican. Prempeh, a U.S. Air Force veteran, is a Paterson resident who ran against Pascrell in 2020 and lost. Pascrell is the former mayor of Paterson.

Locally, Secaucus First Ward Councilman John Gerbasio, Second Ward Councilman James Clancy, Sr. and Third Ward Councilwoman Orietta Turci-Tringali are up for re-election this November. They have no challengers.
